4.5 starsSome series get better as the story progresses, this is one of them. I wasn't a big fan of Ethan in the first few books, but he has grown so much in character as the series advances. There was a human side to him in this one. I LOVED this book. Time flies when you are reading a good book! I poured myself a cup of tea and started reading and the next thing I knew it was dark outside and I had just finished reading the last sentence and my tea was cold. The book was really fast pace. Merit had a lot to deal with. Her role as a Red Guard, Sentinel, and girlfriend were questioned as she had to solve a serial killer mystery. I love how the tension of the book remained constant throughout.
